Car rental for a trip to Samarkand
Samarkand is one of the oldest cities on earth and Uzbekistan's main destination: Registan Square, Gur-e-Amir, Shah-i-Zinda and Ulugbek's observatory. It lies about 310 km from Tashkent, four to five hours by road.
Driving beats the train here: no timetable to keep, you can stop in Jizzakh or at the pass on the way, and Samarkand's monuments are spread out. Intercity travel is allowed and mileage is unlimited.

Frequently asked questions
What documents do I need to rent a car in Tashkent?
A passport and a category B driving licence. Minimum age 21, at least two years of driving experience. For foreign nationals a national licence in Latin script or an International Driving Permit is enough.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. The deposit is taken at pick-up and returned after the car is inspected. The amount depends on the car class — the manager tells you when you book.
Can I drive outside Uzbekistan?
Cross-border trips are agreed separately and are not allowed on every car. Tell us in advance so we can pick a suitable vehicle and prepare the paperwork.
Do you deliver to the airport?
Yes, we bring the car to Tashkent airport and to any address in the city. Delivery within the city is free; the airport has a fee shown at booking.
How long does the paperwork take?
About 15 minutes. Leave a request on the site and the contract will be ready by the time you arrive.
