Car rental for a trip to Charvak

The Charvak reservoir lies in the foothills of the Western Tian Shan, about 80 km from Tashkent — an hour and a half on mountain roads. Turquoise water, sandy beaches, and ski resorts nearby that run through the winter.

Public transport there is awkward, but a car with friends is ideal: boot space for the grill and bags, and stops at the viewpoints along the way. Most people take an SUV or a minivan for this one.

Frequently asked questions

What documents do I need to rent a car in Tashkent?

A passport and a category B driving licence. Minimum age 21, at least two years of driving experience. For foreign nationals a national licence in Latin script or an International Driving Permit is enough.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. The deposit is taken at pick-up and returned after the car is inspected. The amount depends on the car class — the manager tells you when you book.

Can I drive outside Uzbekistan?

Cross-border trips are agreed separately and are not allowed on every car. Tell us in advance so we can pick a suitable vehicle and prepare the paperwork.

Do you deliver to the airport?

Yes, we bring the car to Tashkent airport and to any address in the city. Delivery within the city is free; the airport has a fee shown at booking.

How long does the paperwork take?

About 15 minutes. Leave a request on the site and the contract will be ready by the time you arrive.
